Wear your name the way Thailand writes it. The Custom Thai Name Necklace from Colors by Love turns your name, or the name of someone you love, into fine jewelry written in Thai letters. Each one is personalized and handcrafted to order in our Bangkok studio, so no two are exactly alike.

See it in Thai before you order

Type your name in the box and it appears in Thai above the field, redrawn as you type. English works, so does Japanese, and numbers come out as Thai numerals if you want a date on it. Tap the speaker to hear how it sounds. Press “Use this spelling” and that Thai goes into your order, or type your own Thai and we use it exactly as written. Either way we confirm the spelling with you before anything is made. Want to try a few names first? Check how your name is written in Thai with our free tool.

Silver or solid gold

The silver is 925 sterling with a 0.5 micron plating in yellow gold, rose gold, white gold (rhodium) or silver. Color holds for roughly three years of normal wear. Rhodium also stops the silver tarnishing, which makes it the least effort to live with.

Solid gold is on the page now, 9K, 14K and 18K, no need to write to us first. Gold is priced by how many Thai letters your name comes to, because a longer name is more gold and more bench time. Pick your metal and the price updates the moment we know the name.

Add a stone, or don’t

The stone is optional. One natural 1.8mm round set into the name, any gemstone you like, and the price shows next to the picker before you commit.

A gift that means something

A name in Thai is personal in a way an off-the-shelf necklace never is. It makes a thoughtful gift for a partner, a parent, your children or yourself, and a beautiful keepsake of life in Thailand.
