The pear&#8217;s tip is tucked under the metal so no sharp point stands proud of the setting, and the outside of the band is polished round rather than left flat. That is what makes it bearable when you never take your rings off.<\/p>\n<p>Reckon on about 0.40ct for the pear and 0.50ct for the round, roughly 0.90ct together. Coloured stones weigh differently from diamond, so those are estimates.
