The oval works out around 0.90ct and the square about 0.30ct, near enough 1.20ct across the pair. Density changes with colour, so those numbers are close rather than exact.<\/p>\n<p>You pick both stones at checkout. Birth months are the usual answer, though plenty of people go by colour instead. Emerald, ruby and sapphire arrive eye clean at A to AA.
