Thai Initial Center Necklace

The Thai Initial Center Necklace is a single Thai consonant hanging in the middle of a fine chain. That is the whole design. One letter, sitting at the front of the chain, so it reads straight on rather than off to one side. You choose the letter, and if you want a little colour we set one round 1.3mm natural gemstone inside it. We make each one by hand in our Phra Khanong studio.

1. Choose your letter and finish. Pick your Thai initial above, then the plating and chain length. Tap the pink “Add a gemstone” button if you want a stone in the letter.

The letter list pairs each English initial with the Thai consonant that makes the same sound, so A becomes อ and K becomes ค. Where a sound has more than one Thai letter, the option shows them all, and we check which one is in your name when we send the drawing.

The stone is optional. It is a single round 1.3mm natural gemstone set into the letter. Every semi-precious stone costs the same at this size, so pick on colour. Ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond cost more. Precious stones are eye clean, A to AA. The semi-precious range runs loupe clean, AA to AAA.

The necklace is solid เงินแท้ 925 with a 0.5 micron plating in silver, yellow gold, white gold (rhodium) or rose gold. การชุบ holds its colour for roughly four to six years and can be redone after that. Can I have two letters? Not on this necklace. It is made for one letter in the centre. For two, look at our Thai initial necklaces.

Do I have to add a stone? No. The letter looks finished without one, and leaving it plain keeps the price down. The stone is there if you want a birth month or a favourite colour in it.

Which chain length should I pick? 38cm sits closest to the neck and 45cm hangs lowest, which is the one to pick if you layer it with another chain. The 3cm extender gives you some room either way.

How long does it take? 7 to 10 working days from when we confirm your design.
