Why get pierced with us

Studex, the original systemStudex designs and makes its piercing system in the USA. It is one of the most widely used ear piercing systems in the world.
Sterile, single-use studsEvery stud comes sealed in its own sterile cartridge. It goes from the pack to your ear without being touched by hand.
Quick and gentleEach ear takes a few seconds. Most people describe it as a small pinch, and the system is well suited to children too.
Kind to sensitive skinThe starter studs are hypoallergenic, made for new piercings and for ears that react to ordinary metal.

ご注文の流れ

  1. Choose your studs

    Pick from our Studex starter studs. We will help you choose a size and style that suits a new piercing.

  2. We clean and mark the spot

    We clean your ear with Studex aftercare lotion or antiseptic alcohol, then mark where each piercing will go with a marker pen.

  3. You check the position

    Look in the mirror and check both marks. We move them until you are happy, and we only start when you say yes.

  4. A fresh stud from a sealed pack

    Your stud comes out of its sealed sterile pack and is locked into the Studex instrument, front and back, without being touched by hand.

  5. A few seconds per ear

    You stay seated while we line the instrument up with the mark and press gently. The stud goes in, the back clicks into place, and the instrument slides away.

  6. Aftercare, explained

    We clean your ear once more and show you how to look after the new piercing, with care instructions to take home.

Price

Ear piercing at Toanoi House is 600 baht for both ears, and the price includes a pair of sterile Studex starter studs. There is nothing else to pay for the piercing. Ask us on LINE or WhatsApp which starter studs are in stock before you come.

Who can get pierced

Everyone is welcome, children included.

Under 18? You need permission from a parent or legal guardian before we pierce, every time. The easiest way is to come with them. If they cannot come along, they can give permission by phone, speaking with our staff before the piercing starts.

For young children, a parent should stay with them during the piercing and follow the aftercare at home, because the first weeks of care are what make a piercing heal well.

When we cannot pierce
For your safety, we do not pierce anyone who:

  • has diabetes or high blood sugar
  • is pregnant
  • has had alcohol recently
  • is feeling very anxious or panicky. We are happy to wait, or you can come back another day.

Aftercare and healing

Looking after a new piercing is simple, but it matters. Follow these points and come back to us if anything looks wrong.

  • Keep the studs in all the time, without taking them out: 1 month for an earlobe piercing, 2 months for a helix (upper ear cartilage) piercing.
  • Leave them in to shower and sleep. There is no need to take them out for either.
  • Clean before and after every shower with Studex aftercare lotion or antiseptic alcohol, with clean hands, front and back of the ear.
  • Try not to touch it. Touching a new piercing often can bruise it or lead to infection.
  • Leave room behind the stud. Do not push the back up tight against the ear. It should sit in the small notch on the post so air can reach the piercing. Check its position each time you clean.
  • No swimming for the first 4 to 6 weeks, in pools, the sea or hot tubs.
  • Keep products away. Hairspray, lotion, perfume and makeup should not touch the piercing while it heals.
  • Food is fine. There is nothing you need to avoid eating.

Once that time is up, 1 month for an earlobe or 2 months for a helix, you can change to other earrings, but wear only post (stud) earrings in hypoallergenic metal until the piercing is fully healed. For earlobes that can take up to 5 months.

When it has healed

This is the fun part. Swap your starter studs for something made for you by Colors by Love, in 925 シルバー or solid gold: Thai initial studs, a birthstone stud in a natural gemstone, or a pair that does not match on purpose.

Questions

Does it hurt?

Most people feel a quick pinch and nothing more. Each ear takes a few seconds, and it is over before most children have time to worry.

Do I need to book?

You can walk in during opening hours, 月曜から土曜, 9:30 to 17:00. If you want a set time, message us on LINE or WhatsApp and we will keep it for you.

Can my child get their ears pierced?

Yes. A parent or legal guardian needs to give permission for anyone under 18, in person or by phone with our staff, and should stay with young children during the piercing.

How long until I can change my earrings?

Keep the starter studs in for 1 month for an earlobe piercing, or 2 months for a helix (upper ear) piercing. After that you can wear other stud earrings in hypoallergenic metal, and the piercing keeps healing for up to 5 months.

Can I go swimming?

Not for the first 4 to 6 weeks. After that, clean the piercing well after every swim.
