The whole edge of the stone is covered, so there is no exposed girdle to chip and no claw to snag. A bezel takes more metal and more bench time than claws, because the rim has to be shaped to the stone and then pressed down all the way round without marking it. That is hand work at our Bangkok studio, and it is the setting to pick if you have ever lost a stone out of a ring.
- Stone. One natural octagon, 7 x 5mm, around 1.00ct. Treat carat as an estimate on coloured stones, since density shifts between species.
- Quality. Emerald, ruby and sapphire arrive eye clean, A to AA. Semi-precious material is loupe clean, AA to AAA.
- ตัวเรือน. เงินแท้ 925 with a 0.5 micron plated finish in silver, yellow gold, rose gold or white gold with rhodium, holding colour about 3 years. Rhodium needs least care. Solid 9K, 14K and 18K made to order.
- Chain. 38cm, 40cm, 45cm or 50cm, each with a 3cm extender.
- Timing. 7 to 10 working days to make, then free shipping in Thailand or tracked courier worldwide. 3 year warranty.

Bezel or prong? A bezel wraps the stone in metal, which protects it and reads softer. Prongs hold it with claws and let light through the back, which makes transparent stones brighter. This is the bezel one.
How many stones fit in the row? Two or three sits well across the chain. Send your stones and we will lay out the row before making it. Ask us if you are unsure.
