The Two Natural Gemstone Necklace, 2 Pears sets two pear-cut stones edge to edge at the centre of the chain, points meeting in the middle so the pair reads as one soft heart shape. Made to order in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
Prongs hold each stone with small claws and leave the back of the gem open, which is why a transparent stone looks brighter here than in a closed setting. Both pears are 7 x 5mm, roughly 0.70ct each, so the pair sits near 1.40ct. Take those as close rather than exact, since coloured stones differ in density and millimetres do not translate straight into weight. Both gemstones are natural. Sapphire, ruby and emerald come eye clean at A to AA, and semi-precious material is loupe clean AA to AAA. Setting and chain are 925 sterling silver with a 0.5 micron plating in silver, yellow gold, rose gold or rhodium white, which holds its colour about 3 years. Rhodium asks least of you. Chains are 38cm, 40cm, 45cm and 50cm with a 3cm extender, and solid gold in 9K, 14K or 18K is made to order. 7 to 10 working days at the bench, free delivery inside Thailand, tracked by FedEx abroad, 3 year warranty.
