The Thai Initial Side Necklace is a modern, minimalist take on the classic nameplate. A single Thai letter sits off to one side of the chain rather than in the centre, so it rests at a gentle angle along the collarbone. Subtle, personal and easy to wear every day. Each piece is handcrafted to order in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
The letter sits off to one side of the chain instead of hanging centred, so it settles at an angle along the collarbone. Choose the Thai consonant that matches your initial, or send another script and we will make that. A 1.3mm round stone can go with it, about 0.01ct, give or take, since gem density varies.
Chain lengths are 38cm, 40cm, 45cm and 50cm, each with a 3cm extender. Stones are 100% natural. Diamond is graded G, VS to SI, and the semi-precious colours are loupe clean AA to AAA.
Metal here is a genuine choice, not a finish. Take 925 sterling silver from 2,600 THB, or solid gold in 9K, 14K or 18K, with the gold in yellow, white with rhodium, or rose. Plating applies only to the silver version, where the colour holds about 3 years. Solid gold never wears off. Handmade in Bangkok over 7 to 10 working days, boxed, with a 3 year warranty.
