The Family Ring with Precious Gemstones holds up to four round brilliant stones on one band, one for each person. A parent with three children, or a couple with two. It is the same ring as our three-stone version with one more setting, so if your family is smaller, order that one instead and the stones will sit larger. Made to order in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
Up to four round natural birthstones sit across the top of the band and you tell us the order you want them in. Most people go oldest to youngest. Each stone is 1.8mm, about 0.02ct in diamond terms, so a full set of four comes to roughly 0.08ct. Coloured stones are not all the same weight for their size, so read that as an estimate. If your family is three, order the three-stone ring instead and the stones sit larger.
Solid gold is genuinely selectable here. Choose 925 sterling silver, or 9K, 14K or 18K gold, then the colour: silver, yellow gold, white gold with a rhodium finish, or rose gold. Plating only applies to the silver, where the 1 micron finish keeps its colour around 3 years. Solid gold has nothing to wear off. Emerald, ruby and sapphire are eye clean A to AA, the semi-precious stones loupe clean AA to AAA.

Questions, answered
How many stones fit? One to four on this version. For a smaller family, our three-stone ring gives each stone more room.
Can I add a stone later? No. The settings are cut when the band is made, so choose for the family you have now. If it grows, talk to us about a matching second ring rather than altering this one.
How long does it take? Usually 7 to 10 days, made to your ring size.
