The Two Natural Gemstones Ring in Pear and Round has no corners on it at all. Every other pairing we make includes a step cut with clipped edges. This one does not, so there is nothing to catch on a jumper or press into the next finger. If you wear rings every day and take them off because they annoy you, this is the one to try. Is this really comfortable for every day? More than the others, yes. No clipped corners and no flat edges, and the pear’s point is set below the surface.
Which two stones work best? Pale and pastel stones suit these rounded cuts. Two birthstones is the usual pick. Tell us at checkout and we will confirm before setting.

Details and materials
A 6x4mm pear and a 5mm round brilliant, both natural, both set by hand. The pear’s tip is tucked under the metal so no sharp point stands proud of the setting, and the outside of the band is polished round rather than left flat. That is what makes it bearable when you never take your rings off.
Reckon on about 0.40ct for the pear and 0.50ct for the round, roughly 0.90ct together. Coloured stones weigh differently from diamond, so those are estimates. Sapphire, ruby and emerald are eye clean A to AA, the semi-precious range loupe clean AA to AAA.
Metal is 925 sterling silver carrying a 1 micron plating in silver, yellow gold, white gold (rhodium) or rose gold, which holds its colour something like 3 years. Take rhodium if you would rather not think about upkeep. Solid gold in 9K, 14K and 18K is made to order.
