The Seven Natural Gemstones Ring has more settings than anything else we make. One octagon-cut stone sits at the centre and six round brilliants circle it. Seven is the number where a ring stops being about one stone and starts being about a group, which is why people buy it for whole families rather than couples. Every stone is your choice and we set them by hand in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
Seven settings on one ring, more than anything else we make. The centre is an octagon at 7 x 5mm, roughly 1.00ct, ringed by six round brilliants at 1.8mm, about 0.02ct each. That comes to something like 1.10ct on the finger, give or take, since density shifts from one stone to the next.
You choose all seven and tell us where each one goes, and every gemstone is 100% natural. Emerald, ruby and sapphire arrive eye clean at A to AA. The semi-precious colours are loupe clean, AA up to AAA. Sizes offered are US 6 to 8.5.
The ring is 925 sterling silver finished with a 1 micron plating in silver, yellow gold, white gold with rhodium or rose gold, which holds its colour about 3 years. Solid gold in 9K, 14K or 18K is made to order, so contact us for a quote. Seven settings take time to place, so give the studio the full 7 to 10 working days.

The usual arrangement is a parent’s stone in the octagon centre with the children’s around it. It reads clearly to anyone who asks. If your family does not fit that shape, pick seven colours you like and let people guess.

Questions, answered
Can I choose where each stone goes? Yes, and you should. Tell us which stone takes the octagon centre and the order of the six around it. We confirm the layout with you before setting anything.
Do all seven need to be different? No. Repeat a colour, keep them all the same, or mix seven birthstones. Twins usually get two of the same, side by side.
How long does it take? Seven settings take longer than two, but it still ships within 7 to 10 days.
Can I have solid gold? Yes. Contact us for a solid gold version and we will arrange it.
