The Ring with Baguette Shape Natural Gemstone trades the usual round stone for a clean rectangular cut, set horizontally across a slim tapered band. It reads more architectural than sweet, a quiet way to wear a color that means something to you, without it looking like a typical gemstone ring. Choose your stone and we set it by hand. Handcrafted to order in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
One baguette stone, one slim tapered band, nothing else to go wrong. The cut measures 5 x 2.5mm, which comes out at about 0.20ct. Read that as approximate, because coloured stones differ in density and two of the same size will not weigh the same. A precious stone here is eye clean at A to AA. The semi-precious choices are cut loupe clean, AA to AAA depending on the material.
The band is 925 sterling silver under a 1 micron plating, so it reads differently in silver, yellow gold, rose gold or white gold with rhodium. Plated colour usually holds 3 years, and rhodium asks the least of you since it also keeps the silver from tarnishing. Solid 9K, 14K and 18K are made to order, ask for a quote.
