Sabai Sabai Necklace

The Sabai Sabai Necklace spells สบายๆ in Thai script, made from one piece of metal and hung on a fine cable chain. Sabai sabai is what Thais say when things are going fine and nobody is in a hurry. Roughly, take it easy. We make it by hand in our Phra Khanong studio.

How it works

3. We make it and send it. Crafted and polished by hand in Bangkok, then shipped free and tracked anywhere in Thailand.

Details and materials

The pendant is solid 925 sterling silver, made in one piece so every letter stays joined. The ๆ at the end is the Thai repeat mark. It is why one written word reads as sabai sabai. The pendant hangs on a cable chain in 38, 40, 45 or 50cm, and each length has a 3cm extender so you can wear it a little longer.

Plating comes in silver, yellow gold, white gold (rhodium) or rose gold, 0.5 micron over the silver. It holds its colour for roughly four to six years and can be redone after that. Made to order in 7 to 10 working days.

The optional stone is a round 1.8mm natural gemstone, set by hand. At this size every semi-precious stone costs the same, so you can pick on colour alone. Precious stones are eye clean, A to AA. The semi-precious range runs loupe clean, AA to AAA.

What does ๆ mean? It is the Thai repeat mark. It tells you to say the word before it twice, so สบายๆ reads sabai sabai.
