The Custom Square Pendant with Natural Gemstone puts one coloured stone into a flat square face and leaves space for your engraving beside it. The contrast is the point. Straight edges and a single round stone look better together than either does alone, and it stops the square feeling severe. Set and engraved by hand to order in our Bangkok studio.
Details and materials
A flat square face with one 2.5mm round natural gemstone set into it and room left over for your engraving. That stone is about 0.06ct in diamond terms, give or take, since coloured stones do not all weigh the same for their size. Send us the name, the date or the short line you want and we engrave it by hand before the stone goes in. Thai, English and Japanese all work.
Semi-precious stones on this one are loupe clean AA to AAA. Go for emerald, ruby or sapphire and you are looking at eye clean A to AA.
Pendant and chain are 925 sterling silver finished with a 0.5 micron plating, in silver, yellow gold, white gold (rhodium) or rose gold. Expect about 3 years of colour from it. Solid gold squares in 9K, 14K or 18K are made to order. Chains come at 38cm, 40cm, 45cm or 50cm, each with a 3cm extender. 2,700 THB to start, 7 to 10 working days of studio time, gift boxed with a 3 year warranty.
