The Thai Letter Name Ring is the simplest way to wear your name the way Thailand writes it. Your name runs across a clean, polished band, and you can set one natural stone inside a letter or leave it bare so the letters do all the talking. It works on its own or stacked with other rings, and each one is handcrafted to order in our Bangkok studio and made to your size.
Details and materials
A stone is optional. Add one and it goes inside one of the Thai letters, a 1.3mm round of near enough 0.01ct, and small stones are always approximate on weight because density shifts between species. Stones are 100% natural, loupe clean AA to AAA in the semi-precious colours and eye clean A to AA if you pick ruby, emerald or sapphire. Left bare it is only letters and a polished band, which is why the craftsmanship has to be clean. Thai script carries loops and tails that get filed by hand after the piercing is done, and that hand work is most of the making time.
Send us the name or word you want in Thai, English, Japanese or another script. Sizes run US 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 and 8.5, and others are made to measure.
925 sterling silver with a 1 micron plating. Choose silver, yellow gold, white gold with rhodium or rose gold. A ring takes more knocks than a necklace, so expect that plating to hold its colour for something like 3 years. Rhodium is the one we point people to when they want the least upkeep, since it also stops the silver tarnishing. Solid gold in 9K, 14K or 18K is made to order, just ask for a quote. Allow 7 to 10 working days, boxed, and covered for 3 years.
